The Regional Delegation for Asia
Bice's Regional Delegation for Asia coordinates projects and programmes in the field by working with local partners in Cambodia, India and Nepal to promote the dignity and rights of children in the unconditional respect of them as persons, within their families, their cultures, the communities to which they belong and their religious beliefs. It also acts as a platform of exchange and reflection between its different members. Its lines of actions are prevention and recovery from sexual abuse and exploitation, early childhood care and development and protection of children affected by armed conflict

Asian Expert Groups for the 20th Anniversary of the UNCRC
Bice is celebrating 2 major events in June 2008 and June 2009: the 60th anniversary of Bice and the 20th anniversary of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child.
These two events have been an opportunity for Bice to launch a reflection at the international level on the advancements in the child rights agenda, the continuing negation of those rights, as well as new challenges. The Delegation for Asia put together a "group of experts" to contribute to this reflection at the Asian regional level. The group analysed and reflected on the situation of child rights in Asia, based on their respective experience.

Bice's 60th anniversary: on the road to the Geneva AppealWhat world we want for our children, today and tomorrow, was the theme of Bice's 60th anniversary which also marked the start of a mobilization on the occasion of the 20 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Four experts groups - Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe and CIS - presented their positions on June 4th, in Paris.

Celebrations for Bice’s 60th Anniversary, 04-05 June 2008The celebration of Bice's 60 th anniversary will take place in Paris, France. These two days will be an opportunity to reflect on the world we want for our children.
